Yeah, I always recommend people see an orthodontist for their Invisalign and their orthodontic treatment. It’s just that we do this every single day. I always like to compare it, you know, with dentistry we’re doing multiple procedures.
You know, we may be doing the cleaning, you may be doing a crown prep, maybe getting a cavity filled that day. When you see an orthodontist, they’re only seeing Invisalign braces. So when things come up, troubleshooting things, the orthodontist is more trained at figuring things out, right? They’ve seen everything.
With a dentist doing your orthodontics, they may not have seen everything and their mind is not solely focused on getting a straight smile because they have so many other avenues going on at the same time. So I always say it’s always great to get an orthodontist’s opinion first. And if your local general dentist offers it, you know, it’s obviously a great thing to see them as well because some are well trained in doing the braces Invisalign, but you always want to get an orthodontist’s opinion first.
In many ways, orthodontics has changed a lot of people’s lives because, you know, a smile is just not an appearance look, you know, it can affect someone emotionally, mentally, and physically. So we have a lot of people who are not confident, you know, who felt insecure all their life and, you know, once they get a great smile, you know, you see them change over time, you know, they start feeling better, they get, you know, better at work, they’re doing better at their social life. So it impacts many people in multiple ways and I get to see that growth, especially after I transform their smile, to see how their life takes off after that.
