So I became an orthodontist because as a kid, I had a long history of treatment with the orthodontist. You know, starting at a young age, my mom put me through expanders, headgear, and nutritional braces. And I knew when I got older, I wanted to provide the same service to the future patients.
You know, I like to see the transformation from before and after, and I saw the immediate impact it had on my life, and I want to give that to the patients of the future. So I did my dental training at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I followed up with orthodontic training at Detroit Mercy.
And I felt these two schools helped me gain the best training possible for all my patients. At the University of Michigan, it is known as the top university in the country. This allowed me to learn from a lot of faculty to give me the best training.
And then I followed it up with orthodontic training at Detroit Mercy, which gave me a great layout for what the field of orthodontics would be like.
Meet Dr. Justin Kammo, a Professional With Many Years of Experience
Dr. Justin Kammo pursued his dental education at the distinguished University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then expanded his expertise through an intensive orthodontic residency program at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. This two-year specialized training culminated in both a master’s degree and certification in orthodontics. Today, he applies his advanced training to provide patients with comprehensive orthodontic care, including traditional braces, clear ceramic braces, Invisalign, retainers, and other specialized treatments for teeth alignment.
