I think everyone should come to Profound Orthodontics just because of the experience. I still believe that we’re one of the top orthodontic practices in the state, not just because of the treatment we provide, but to the experience. From the moment you walk in, the satisfaction you get from meeting our front desk receptionist, to meeting me, to meeting our assistants, it’s just a whole different atmosphere.
I like to say it’s, you know, the one-on-one interaction. You know, you’re not just a number with our office. We learn about you, we know about you, we learn about your families, and this helps grow the whole experience.
I always wanted to treat athletes just because growing up, I was always around sports, and I wanted to incorporate sports into my practice. So we started treating a lot of the athletes, and the athletes started bringing their friends and their, you know, people on the teams just because the way we treat everyone. I don’t look at them as athletes, you know, when they come in, I treat them as friends, you know, we, you know, learn about them, I learn where they come from.
I also offer advice in terms of like, you know, what to do around Metro Detroit because, you know, not all from here. And I think that goes a long way because once they come to me, they don’t think they’re just a patient. You know, they think of me as, you know, a buddy of theirs, and then they tell their friends to bring, to come bring their kids or then do their treatment, which helps to gain a lot of popularity in the athlete world.
I always try to preach to my staff that, you know, the patient is your number one priority. You know, sometimes we might get, you know, frustrated, you know, with a busy office, but I always like to remind that, you know, my staff and me that the patient is coming to us for the experience. So we always want to make sure they’re, you know, every visit is a comfortable visit.
Every visit, you know, they’re feeling special, right? With orthodontics, it’s not like dentistry where you see everyone once every six months. With us, you’re seeing us every four weeks. So we want to make sure that every visit is a special one.
Sometimes it’s easy to forget and, you know, you’re going to say, well, I don’t see him again in a month, right? That visit will be better. But people remember the bad visit, you know, so you never want to give them that bad visit. So with us, we always want to make sure every visit is special.
